Accordion Player In Chapala

Music is such an important part of Mexican culture, as important as 500 years of culinary history or time spent with the family. In the town of Chapala, people walk along the lakefront boardwalk in the evenings to enjoy pina coladas, kids play in the water and musicians roam in search of anyone willing to pay for a tune. In this photo, an accordionist plays "Cielto Lindo," perhaps Mexico's most famous song, with an accordion made with the colors of Mexico: red, green and white.
